Difficult times require extraordinary solutions!

The challenges of our time are more present than ever. That is why we have developed a mobile photovoltaic system with the aim of achieving maximum use of solar energy while at the same time being compact in design, easy to transport and quick to set up.

This system is realized through the unique combination of innovative and advanced container technology.

Our pioneering and environmentally friendly solar systems: Folded solar panels in a container frame with corresponding standard dimensions, easy to unfold thanks to a sophisticated rail system and no shading from a remaining container structure.

Solarcontainers have a tailored system with a mobile structure and easy assembly solution which makes it superior over similar current solar solutions.

Mobile structure

The Solarcontainer has the measurements of a 20-foot "high-cube" container according ISO 668 with CSC

The base of the Solarcontainer is a solid floor frame with the length and width of a 20f HC container. Mounted on this frame is the innovative PV rail system and the clever folding mechanism of the solar panels, which enable the transport dimensions and lifting points of a standard 20f high cube container, but still contain a maximum of highly efficient solar panels.

The company SolarCont GmbH; founded in 2022

SolarCont GmbH was created through a cooperation between the two successful companies Hilber Solar GmbH from beautiful Tyrol and the company Gföllner Fahrzeugbau und Containertechnik GmbH, which is deeply rooted in Upper Austria.

This cooperation makes it possible to develop a completely new type of mobile solar system.

With Hilber Solar GmbH, the cross-generational and outstanding know-how flows into SolarCont GmbH as a guarantee for a perfectly coordinated and highly efficient photovoltaic system. Due to the many years of experience of the company Gföllner Fahrzeugbau und Containertechnik GmbH in the field of mobile room solutions for the development of an innovative and modular container module, a compact design could be designed despite the high number of PV panels. This in turn enables easy transport and quick commissioning.

Both companies rely on the latest technology, the most advanced production sites, a motivated and dynamic team and sustainable management.

Quality made in Austria! For SolarCont more than just a pure marketing statement!

Simplified lease and insurance

Well insured

We offer an optional maintenance contract as a guarantee of functionality and loss of earnings.

This option offers comprehensive protection and reduced risk even when using the Solarcontainer outside of a controlled environment.

Your investment is thus optimally protected and the calculation of profitability is simplified.

Lease & save costs

The Solarcontainer can also be purchased using an inexpensive leasing model.

You benefit from increased flexibility and can expand or reduce the number of mobile solar systems used, depending on requirements.

FAQ

How many people are needed for the initial installation of the Solarcontainer until commissioning?

At least 3-4 installers and 1 crane operator are needed to put the Solarcontainer into operation within one day.

How many households can one Solarcontainer supply with electricity?

Based on an average power consumption of a 4-person household of 4000 kWh per year and a location in Southern Germany, the solar container can supply approx. 32 households with climate-friendly electricity.

At a location in Southern Europe it can even be up to 50 households due to the high solar radiation.

Is a foundation necessary for the Solarcontainer?

Due to its robust construction and its own weight, the Solarcontainer already offers sufficient protection against lifting or shifting without a foundation. For higher wind loads, ballast stones can easily be placed on the rail system as needed. To secure against very high wind loads, we recommend fixing the Solarcontainer on concrete foundations.

Is a vehicle required to fold and unfold the Solarcontainer?

No. The folding and unfolding of the module fields works electrically via an automatic conveyor system.

Can the Solarcontainer be folded up again without an external power source?

No. In the event of a power failure, an external power source must be connected. Example: Emergency generator or energy storage.

What maintenance work is required for the Solarcontainer?

The system must be professionally maintained in accordance with the legal regulations at the installation site. Of course, work that affects the yield should also be carried out (mowing or cleaning work).

Is an inverter already integrated and wired?

The inverter and all other electrical components are delivered, installed and commissioned with the Solarcontainer. However, for country-specific requirements, the inverter can also be provided by the customer.

Are the modules already wired?

The modules are pre-assembled, fully wired and connected to the inverter during initial installation.

What is the difference between ON-GRID and OFF-GRID?

On-Grid means that the PV system is connected to the utility grid (grid-connected). An off-grid system, or islanded system, generates its own utility grid in areas where there is no public grid.
